National Standards for Disability Services
These are the Federal Standards, which Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE’s) and Disability Employment Service (DES) providers need to comply with to receive funding from the Australian Government.
National Disability Advocacy Program Scheme
The standards and Key Performance Indicators are applicable for Advocacy Agencies funded under the National Disability Advocacy Program to provide Advocacy services for people with disability. This is a federal standard
QLD Human Services Quality Standards
These standards are the Queensland State Standards which apply to and need to be met by all service providers funded by Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services. These include, but may not be limited to, the following Services: Accommodation, Day programs, Respite, Housing and Homelessness.
VIC Department of Human Services Standards
These standards are the Victoria State Standards which apply and need to be met by all service providers funded by the Department of Human Services in Victoria. These include, but may not be limited to, the following Services: Accommodation, Day programs, Respite, Housing and Homelessness.
Jobactive – Quality Assurance Framework Principals
The program which is run under this standard can be a combination of the above standards in addition to the Quality Assurance Framework Principals. Services need to have a system in place that meets one of the following standards ISO 9001, Disability Services Standards and ESIS Standards as well as the Quality Assurance Framework Principals. These standards combined outline the Government’s requirements for service quality.
